Happy Mother's Life

There is nothing wrong to celebrate Mother's Day. As people are remembering their mothers today and wishing them. But this day originated from Western Culrure where they were in need of this day so that they could remember their mother atleast one day in a year.
But in India, we have all 365 days as Mother's Day. As-
She feeds us daily.
She finds everything missing at home.
She takes many decisions for us.
She gives advice to us.
She helps us in study.
She earns for us.
She spends her nights w/o sleep when required.
She takes care not only of their children but the entire family. So she is the ultimate mother of the family. Her presence in our lives couldn't be recognised in just one day. So she is inseparable. So to all of you a very (not day, not week, not year)
HAPPY MOTHER'S LIFE !!

Our Secular "India"

What a secular country? What a secular media? What a secular police? What a secular law and order?
In a row of protests from JNU to Hyderabad and now at NIT Srinagar, a threat of being a patriot has occupied a corner in our hearts. Students are beaten up brutally by police at NIT just because they were opposing those
who were doing anti-national activities (like hoisting Pakistan's flag) and celebrating India's defeat in Cricket Match. What a brave move has shown up by "our protector - Indian Police".

Now a situation has come where suddenly, during supporting and praising our country, an anticipation of being beaten by police or anti-nationals strike in our minds.

A country should not be so liberal so that it would be crushed by its own people. In a democracy, if people are raising anti-national slogans, hoisting other nation's flags and abusing patriots of the country, what other freedom they could want? It is quite shocking and laughable that after pulling down the honour of the nation, people are saying that they respect the constitution. Nothing can be more irritating than this.
Being anti-national doesn't seems to be a crime which could be trialed in a court but a disease caused due to deficiency of moral values, patriotism, good upbringing and nice people around us. So it must be eradicated without if and but. These is no freedom of speech, no debate, no discussions required to treat a disease.
By allowing such activities in our renowned institutions fading the faith of people from them. Due to this, the future of our country and its existence would be at stake. So necessary actions in two phases should be taken by the government, firstly strictly punishing those who are involved in such destroying activities of law and order and secondly, by imbibing values to students from schools by revising the education system.
To save this country a paradigm shift in all above aspects has become essential.
Think over it.

Understanding our role in democracy.

I think there is a need to write this. See there is a mind-set reverberating around the country and that reflects a pathetic mentality of people. Most of the people in India support one or other political party and that is absolutely fine as if you have the ideology same as it has. But, it sometimes become irritating when any leader involves in some unacceptable activity then those who were supporting earlier take that as their own prestige and become "blind followers". This should be changed as it should be understood first that we people are the makers in democracy, if we have right to stand by anyone in country's good then we also have right to stand against him/her in country's bad. These political parties work by, for and in India and we are Indians. So we have to rather start thinking being an Indian than being a Congressian, AAPian, Samajwadi, BJPian, etc. See these names are political parties till elections, after elections they are people's representatives. If the PM or CM or any other doing good, we should support, appreciate and stand by him to build his confidence more stronger to take country forward irrespective of his/her political party. Suppose, one is CM, he is CM of an India State and if he is PM, he is PM of India not PM of BJP or any other. Think over it.

Collapses, deaths and what?

When a structure collapses, loss of lives, time, money, resources, etc is encountered.
The collapsing of structures has become so common but no one actually bothers about it. There are numerous lives of workers getting sacrificed in such accidents. Is there any importance of their lives?
It seems that somewhere in the race of development, a phase of "negative development" is going on.
It is becoming so common and sensational yet firm steps are about to be taken by the governments (both centre and state).
If we go much deeper in the issue, apart from the illeteracy of workers and their low intellectual level regarding their own safety, we would notice that the Construction policies in India are very insensitive towards the lives of workers and the scenario of the construction site comprises of:
》No insurance policies of workers.
》Ignorance of employers towards their workers.
》No safety equipments provided for workers.
》No fire protection measures are taken.
》No control over child labour working.
》Filthy atmosphere leading to unhealthy conditions to workers, etc.
Besides technical failures by the engineers, there is a moral, emotional, philosophical and economical failure attached to every such incident or would say accident.
There is need to take this issue on the desk and sort it out soon by the governments as well as people by showing some care and support.

Thought of the day, 21st January 2016
